巴斯VS布萊頓-----在巴斯的比利時朱古力 在英國的巴斯(Bath)是出名的旅游勝地,Bath地處英國西南部,古羅馬人在這裡發現溫泉,并在這裡聚居過,有大量羅馬建筑群.我對建筑沒有什麼研究,沒有去深究那些建筑構造,可是我對那裡悿靜的環境總有一種在自在輕鬆的心情,每次去那裡都有放鬆心情的感覺.
 這次去那裡有一個新的發現,就是在那裡有一家比利時人開的朱古力cafe,這是我朋友無意中發現的,門面不大起眼,像是一間普通的賣朱古力的店,可是祇要走進去,就可以發現這不是一家普通的朱古力店.這是一家既賣朱古力又賣咖啡的cafe,對於我這個喜歡喝朱古力咖啡的人來說就像是在沙漠上找到綠洲一樣,心情興奮!在享受咖啡的同時又可以品嘗美味誘人的朱古力.寫意爽快!坐在店內一角,朋友不其然拿出相機拍下寫意一刻.
  店老板很是熱情,大概是因為他本人不是英國本土人的關係,見到同是身在異國的客人會熱情一些.在店裡,我留意到在那裡做事的人全都是來自不同國家的人,有比利時人,法國人,還有一個馬來西亞華人.店裡氣紛輕鬆愉快,帶給客人舒适隨意,相信老板在經營方面有他的一套哲學.
 在Bath游覽,常常讓我想起英國另一個有名的旅游勝地布萊頓(Brighton),也就是我剛來英國時惡補英文的地方.Brighton是英國東南部沿海的一個城鎮,有一條長而優美的海岸線,懮閒的商業購物區,大量的酒吧和俱樂部,因此吸引大批游客每年夏天去到Brighton渡假.和Bath對比,Brighton比較生機活躍,而Bath就比較閒靜一點. 懁念那個年輕時代最近重看好友的BLOG,令我回想起讀書年代,思緒漸漸被捲入那沒有擔憂的歡樂日子------打球游泳,逛街看戲,歡笑的場景像走馬燈一樣呈現眼前-------有那一幕我們去到一間不具知名度而又佈置優雅的書店流連,浸泡在書本氣中整整一個下午.更有另一幕是我們偶爾在陽光燦爛的日子去到某個湖邊的露天清吧喝喝茶,看著泛波的湖面,聽著清吧播放的一首首動人的樂曲,興致來時高談闊論一翻........回想那一切讓我覺得似夢幻一般的挾意人生似乎在生命中經已消失,又或者是今時迷失當下,等待若干年後才發現這是另一種的挾意人生.
期待另一種挾意人生. 內疚 回顧過去一年,我的精力過多地用去忙碌生活的瑣事,沒有在小小空檔裡為自己BLOG寫任何的東西,一直很是內疚,看到友人們發表一篇又一篇作品時,都會令我有不時的衝動想去寫些什麼,郤一直疏懶.至2008最後一個月裡,雖又盤算著要去寫一下整年的總結和來年的計劃,郤一時不知從何寫起,都怪自己文筆生疏又不勤練筆.內疚至極!
暗 中 一 吻
火 車 進 入 隧 道 ， 車 廂 一 片 黑 暗 ， 只 聽 得 一 聲 親 吻 ， 接 著 是 一 記 響 亮 的 耳 光 。 火 車 開 出 隧 道 後 ， 車 廂 四 個 素 不 相 識 的 人 都 沒 吱 一 聲 ， 唯 有 德 國 軍 官 眼 圈 發 青 。 老 太 婆 想 ﹕ " 這 姑 娘 人 美 心 靈 更 美 。 " 姑 娘 想 ﹕ " 真 奇 怪 ， 這 德 國 人 寧 愿 親 老 太 婆 卻 不 親 我 。 " 德 國 人 想 ﹕ " 這 羅 馬 尼 人 真 狡 猾 ， 他 偷 著 親 嘴 ， 我 暗 里 挨 揍 。 " 羅 馬 尼 人 想 ﹕ " 我 最 聰 明 ， 我 吻 自 己 的 手 背 ， 又 打 了 德 國 人 一 個 耳 光 ， 沒 人 發 現 。 " remember Heath LedgerOnce some one past away, his/her lover needs to stay behind in the world with painful rememberance and keep on living. I know the every touching moment will keep appear on her/him mind that could irritate her/him regular life for serval years or even whole life, but I am also surely that keep on living is the best way to express the love.
We lost a great actor this month------Heath Ledger, When we grieve over Heath Ledger, please don't forget to encourage those people who still sufferring in the world.

Madrid day 6Toledo is a historic city in Spain. The Visigoths made Toledo their capital in the 6th century AD. Toledo was a melting pot of Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures.The centre of Toledo is built on a hill and with some part of city wall. Toledo remimds me of a castle.
Inside Toledo, the narrow and bended road made by small stones, it seems like it has been established for more than hundred years.When i walked on the road with all the small shops, the 60's or 70's building, make me feel as if i'm walking in Macau. Most of the souvenir's shops sell swords and knives due the the town originally famous of making swords.
Toledo has a very old massive Cathedral,it was built on the site of a 7th-century church. Work began in 1226 and spanned three centuries, until the completion of the last vaults in 1493.
The Cathedral display the birth of Jesus in front of the Cathedral so that everyone remembers how Jesus came to the world and why people celebrate Christmas.
The fascinating scenery on top of the hill with bended road and stream, reminds me of freedom. Unfortunately i couldn't capture the whole picture with my camera, but it's all on my mind. I really appreciate the beauty of the nature.
Today is my last day in Spain, I would like to thank my dear Spanish friend--Cuca being my tour guide for several days and explain the Spanish history and culture.I had a fantastic holiday in Spain. Let's have a photo!!! Cheers!
 Madrid day 5If you say Italian are enthusiastic, then I will say Spanish people would not inferior to Italian. Cuca's nanny cannot speak any English but she was looking forward to seeing me and I would not like to make any person disappionted. Actually, she is a very nice and friendly lady.
After lunch with Cuca's nanny, I have to go to Prado museum by myself. Haha, no English can be use but Spanish, but Spanish is blank on my mind. Cuca asked her nanny and help me to find the metro station that I should go, then she took me to a metro station and started my journey to Prodo museum alone. Lucky me, I didn't have any problem to get to the museum with their useful information.
Museo del Prado
The Prado museum is the best museum in Spain and contains the most Spanish painting in the world. The museum has three floors and with different collections which are included painting, drawing, sculpture etc. The Prado museum not just collect lots of Spanish painting(most Spanish paintings are Velazquez's and Goya's works) but also some Italian painting(like the famous painter Raphel), French painting, Flemish and Dutch painting.
The entrance fee is 6 Euros and I think that it's not expensive as it is the best museum of Spain and the cost of mantain is fortune as the large amount of collections.
Christmas Day (Madrid trip day 4) Home made seafood rice is more delicious than a famous resturant in England. I would never forget the taste.
 With seafood rice I had a small glass of wine which from Cuca's daddy's hometown. Hehe, Food and wine all so tasty. Las Ventas---one of the most beautiful bullrings in Spain. The bullring is built in 1929 in Neo-Mudejar style with a capacity of 23,000 people and it is one of the largest in the world. Bullflighting season runs from March to October and I could not see any bullflighting as I went to Madrid in December. When the bullfighting season finish, Las Ventas will use as a place for any other shows such as concerts.
A typical Spanish snack called curros is a kind of stick made by flour or mixed with chocolate.
I have never ever thought that Madrid is a very nice city at night,especially in Christmas time. All lights with different design of acts on main roads.Pretty looking!!!
Fuente de Cibeles is one of Madrid's landmarks and it is stand in the middle of the busy traffic island at the junction of the Calle de Alcala and the Paseo del Prado. It is designed in the late 18th century and there are four improtant buildings around Fuente de Cibeles. Palacio de Comunicaciones( knowns as "our lady of communications), Palacio de Linares(built in 1873), Cuartel general del Ejercito de Tierra( former Palacio de Buenavista) and Banco de Espana(the Venetian-Renaissance style building)
Madrid Christmas eve (day 3)I was so glad that I can have a walk in a mountain area, the atmosphere was so fresh that made me feel I am real. The mountain is such a beautiful area from natural resources. I was thinking that like a beer advertisement in HongKong.Playing a guitar and singing along , beer and friends are stay with me. What a wonderful conception!
but we could not stay in mountain area too long as it was Christmas eve and every family was celerbrating Christmas at home and have a great dinner!!! We rushed back before dinner time , met Cuca's parents ,sisters , brother and nephews(a big joyful family). When we back home , various hams and prawns were on the table. On the other side, the sitting area , two trays with full of traditional Spanish Christmas sweets !

I had a very nice Christmas dinner at Cuca's home , thanks a lot to Cuca's family that brought me so much joy during Christmas time.
After dinner, I almost felt asleep with alcohol effect although I just had a glass of wine. I felt half asleep until my friend took me to meet her other friends, and I was completely woke up when her friend showed me a video about his bulls running(bull running called San Fermin in Spanish and it is held in August ).
Spanish people love clubbing and most of clubs are opened until late night. I went out to see Spanish club on Christmas Eve, but I couldn't dance with my poor dancing skill.
